Day 63/90

So I finally lived up to a very lazy sunday, and slept the whole day. I had terrible nightmares, or day mares. So no more day sleeping. Anyway, im now part of the great indian workforce, so I dont really have time to sleep late. Ok enough about that. I had two apples at home, and they have been there for quite some time. I got one as an offering at a buddhist meeting I attended on new years day, so it has special value for me. ūüôā¬†


So I scoured the internet for a suitable recipe, and this is what I found and followed vaguely.

What you need: 


Two apples 
A little bit than one fourth of a cabbage cut up, that is if you used a huge cabbage, if you use a small one, then use the whole one 
One carrot 
A tablespoon of olive oil 
Two tablespoons of lemon juice 
Salt and pepper to taste 
A teaspoon of sesame or pumpkin seeds, crushed 


What to do: 


1. Roughly chop one apple and add it to a mixie with some water. Blitz away. Hmm. 




























































2. Bring out a salad bowl and add three tablespoons of the apple juice to it. Drink the rest. Also add the olive oil and lemon juice, and the salt and pepper. 































3. Chop all the vegetables into thin strips, also called juliennes. This is what it is exactly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julienning

4. Add this to your salad bowl and mix well. Top with some crushed pumpkin or sesame seeds.  Eat.
