In 2011, I embarked on a 90 day cooking challenge. I cooked, with the help of my dachshunds and other objects such as babies. And my grandmother. And my friends. And my parents. And my lovely domestic help.

…and once the 90 days got over, I still keep cooking anyway, and linking it to other parts of my life. I went on to study, and found that I could actually research food. I volunteered at a British charity where women in exile came together to cook and talk about their issues, and researched at a spice center in India, where women would grind spices and pound flour. My blog has a little bit of everything in my life, and I hope you can be a part of it.
This blog is relatively recent, and is divided up into sweet, salty and figure it out yourself stuff as categories. All of them are pretty self-explanatory I would say.

I went properly vegan in August 2014, and since then all recipes have been vegan. By being properly vegan I mean that I don’t plan on ever consuming animal products of any kind. If you have some vegan cooking hacks, please feel free to pass them on. Ooh and I am currently on a quest to perfect vegan cheese! EEEP.
